WHO DOES NOT LIKE SURPRISES?
Maison Sablé was founded at the beginning of 2019, by 2 optimist women, who like good food, good conversations, and good surprises... Marion and Mariane met in New York two years ago as they worked for a French gourmet brand. By browsing the city and all its hidden secrets, they became partners in all types of foodie crimes. Among them, there was the unmissable 4 pm cookie time which soon became the “unexpected cookie challenge”. Guess which was the winner? The idea of Maison Sablé was born.
PARDON MY FRENCH: What does“Maison [mεz?~] Sablé” [sable] mean?
A Sablé is the Iconic French cousin of the shortbread but crumblier.
More than a delicious treat, each piece of this little cute biscuit is a tribute to those simple but sweet memories that make life worth living. Each aficionado, from 1 to 99, has his own way to indulge himself when the kitchen bell rings: either by starting by the corners, dipping it in a cup of coffee or hot chocolate, spreading strawberry jam on it, or filling it generously with chocolate hazelnut paste… Give or take, let’s keep your inner kid alive!
